3 arrested, charged with burglary by Pct. 4 deputies

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A suspicious neighbor called 911 when she saw three men wearing ski masks go into a home in the 8200 block of Wooded Terrace Lane in Northwest Harris County on Wednesday.

“They were wearing ski masks and carrying a lot of merchandise,” said Lt. Jonathan Zitzmann, with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the men inside the home, two of them were apprehended by the K-9 unit and the third was found hiding in the attic, they said.

The suspect in the attic was armed.

The investigation revealed the suspects had burglarized a home one block over and they were using the home on Wooded Terrace Lane to hide the stolen merchandise.

Deputies found TVs, computer equipment and other electronics.

“We had a burglary in the area yesterday that happened one block away,” Zitzmann said. “Another burglary happened that we were just notified about.”

The stolen items were returned to the neighbor.

Zitzmann told KPRC the three suspects were arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.

The suspects are 20-year-old Keith Sills and 21-year-old Charles Barconey.

A juvenile was also arrested and charged. Deputies said she was acting as the “look-out,” she is 16 years old.

A second female, who is 17, was inside the home, but not believed to be involved.

Deputies are crediting the neighbor who saw what was going on, thought it looked suspicious and called 911.

“It really helps us do our job better when neighbors see something and say something,” Zitzmann said.
