3 new West Nile-related deaths in Texas reported

HOUSTON - There are three more confirmed West Nile-related deaths in Texas.

One was reported in Travis County, another in Tarrant County and a third McClennan County, in the Waco area, according to health officials.

Health officials report they are also investigating thee other reported cases of the virus in Travis County.

Across the state, there have been more than 100 reported cases of West Nile. Of those cases, eight have ended in death.

There have been no reported West Nile deaths in Harris County.
