HOUSTON – Students at three Klein Independent School District schools were ordered to shelter-in-place Thursday after a gas line break.
Klein Forest High School, Wunderlich Intermediate School and Greenwood Forest Elementary School were the schools under a shelter-in-place.

Klein ISD officials said a contractor Thursday morning hit a gas line near Wunderlich Intermediate.
The order was lifted at 12:15 p.m., officials said.
Officials said there was no loss of gas pressure to the school, and fresh air intakes were closed off as a precaution.
Parents were allowed to enter the building during the order.
