In a press release, Benny Agosto, Jr., one of the attorneys representing the employees, said this is the worst case he has ever seen with his clients suffering, "absolutely horrifying lifelong injuries."

Garzon and Gonzalez were two of three workers hurt when the floor of the restaurant caved in and the fryer tipped over, pouring scalding hot grease on them.

The third worker, Erica Acevedo, is also suing for $50 million.

The incident remains under investigation.
