HOUSTON – Authorities are investigating after a man was shot to death following a road rage incident in northwest Harris County.

The shooting happened around midnight Monday on Highway 6 and Forest Trails Drive.

Deputies said when they arrived, they found the man - identified as Aaron Miller, 32, - in the middle of the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities said Miller got out of his vehicle and approached another vehicle, and that is when someone opened fire.

His wounds were severe, and he was rushed to a hospital where he later died, authorities said.

Deputies said the gunman left in either a light-colored Dodge Charger or a black sedan.

Miguel Flores, who lives across the street from Miller, said the person who killed him need to go to be arrested.

"I am really sorry about what happened," Flores said. "Road rage is really common in Houston. It's really out of control. It needs to stop because it's getting out of control."

The shooting happened near a Walgreens, so authorities are working to get surveillance footage in an effort to shed some light on the deadly shooting.

Investigators said they found alcohol inside Miller's vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
