HOUSTON – A man is dead and a woman is hospitalized Monday after the couple, who had been shot, drove to a southwest Houston gas station, police said.
The incident was reported at 6:12 a.m. at the corner of West Fuqua Street and Blueridge Road.

According to Houston police, the couple had been shot and then drove to the gas station to get help.
Police said the man died as the woman ran into the gas station to ask for help.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.
Investigators said they are still trying to piece together what led to the shooting.
The identity of the victims was not immediately released.
