Wanted felon arrested after screaming in driveway, leading police on chase

HOUSTON – A man Harris County deputies said is a wanted felon is now in their custody.

Ezekiel Joshua Hall was taken into custody around 1 a.m. Tuesday after a chase that ended near Bammel North Houston Road and Old Bammel North Houston Road.

Deputies said residents at a home in north Harris County called 911 after Hall pulled into a driveway and started honking and screaming loudly.

Hall drove off before authorities arrived, but they spotted him close by near Jan Glen Lane and Chaseloch Street, authorities said.

Deputies said they tried to make a traffic stop but Hall took off, leading them on a chase.

The chase lasted about 25 minutes until Hall crashed at Old Bammel, authorities said. Hall tried to flee on foot, but he was quickly apprehended.

Deputies said Hall is wanted on at least two warrants out of Montgomery County. The U.S. Marshals Service is also reportedly involved, but deputies did not have information in regard to their involvement.

Police found a firearm in Hall’s vehicle. Hall was taken to the Harris County Emergency Corps for evaluation.
