CROSBY, Texas – A 12-year-old girl who was reported missing from her Crosby home has been found safe Tuesday, Harris County deputies said.
According to authorities, Hannah Diaz, who attends Crosby Middle School, disappeared from her house on Oarlock Court near Chart Drive sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Hannah Diaz’s parents told deputies she was gone when they woke up Saturday morning. They reported her missing around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
“The front door was locked, and she was gone. Her room was ransacked, and she is gone,” Dave Diaz said.
Harris County deputies searched for Hanna Diaz with air support and dogs. Deputies said her scent was lost at the next street over from Oarlock Court.
Deputies said the circumstances of her disappearance remain under investigation.
