THE WOODLANDS, Texas – We promised to let you know when plans for a shuttle from The Woodlands to the Rodeo were finalized, and we are delivering! The Woodlands Township Board of Directors has confirmed that a deal is in place.
The Woodlands Express buses will take folks to NRG stadium on weekends during the Rodeo.
"We're pleased to debut The Woodlands Express Rodeo Service on key weekends for our residents and visitors," said Gordy Bunch, Township Chairman of the Board. "We've heard from many of our residents about an express service, and we're giving it a try this year. It sure takes the hassle out of driving and finding a parking spot, and feels a lot safer, too."
Here's what every rider needs to know:
*The shuttle will be available March 2 & 3, March 9 & 10,and March 16 & 17.
*The departure point will be the Sterling Ridge Park and Ride location.
*The drop-off point will be the METRO/Rodeo Express pickup location.
*The cost went from $25 per person to $13 per person round trip.
