HOUSTON – A woman’s ex-boyfriend shot her drunken new boyfriend in the head and killed him during an angry encounter Monday, police said.
The shooting was reported about 2:30 a.m. on South Drive near Wilcrest Drive.

Houston police said the woman and her new boyfriend, Osmen Mar, 18, were at her apartment when Mar got drunk and became belligerent. Police said the woman made Mar leave, and he went outside and started damaging her vehicle.
Police said the woman called Edwin Issac Aguila, 23, her ex-boyfriend and the father of her child, and asked him to come over to get Mar to leave. Police said Aguila and Mar got into a fight and Aguila pulled out a gun and shot Mar in the head.
Mar was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Aguila was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.
