BACLIFF, Texas – A Bacliff girl who has been missing since last week was found safe Thursday in Iowa.

Mercedes “Sadie” Lee, 15, was last seen wearing camouflage pants and a black hooded jacket over a black, long-sleeve shirt, according to Texas EquuSearch.

In a Facebook post, Texas EquuSearch said that the agency's founder traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to pick up Mercedes and bring her back to her family.

"We are not privy to the circumstances surrounding this case, and we ask that you continue to keep Mercedes and her family in your thoughts and prayer," the post read.

Mercedes was said to be carrying several pairs of jeans with her at the time of her disappearance.
