HSPVA shows support for classmate Sarah Grace on 'The Voice'

HOUSTON – It's a big night for Houston's own Sarah Grace as she waits to find out if she makes the top 10 on NBC's "The Voice."

The 15-year-old is a sophomore at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, but she isn't there for singing, she plays the trumpet.

Sarah's other talent came as a surprise to many of her classmates until she told them she was going to be on the hit show.

"I actually didn't even know she could sing," said Chloe Schoupe.

Her orchestra classmates say they miss her but they are excited for all of her success.

"I think it's really inspiring, to be close to somebody that's actually doing stuff like going on TV, meeting celebrities, on a top-notch competition, it's awesome, it makes me want to get better," said senior Richard Cruz.

Find out if Sarah Grace makes it to the top 10 when "The Voice" airs Monday at 7 p.m. on KPRC.
