HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A 24-year-old man was arrested after authorities said he broke into a home on Thanksgiving Day.

Dapatrick Pharms was arrested and charged with trespassing and criminal mischief.

Harris County authorities said Pharms broke into a home in the 10600 block of Cedarhurst Drive, near the intersection of West Bellfort Avenue and Chimney Rock Road in southwest Houston.

Around 8 p.m., a neighbor alerted authorities after they heard glass breaking at the residence. The homeowner was out of town for the holidays, according to authorities.

When deputies arrived, they found a broken window and then searched the home. Pharms was found bathing in the master bathroom, deputies said.
