Motorcyclist dead after wreck in west Houston, police say

HOUSTON – Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle wreck in west Houston.

Police responded to the collision at Westheimer near Voss roads just after 3 a.m., where a motorcycle collided with a car.

Officials said it appears the 22-year-old motorcyclist was speeding west on Westheimer when the driver of a gray Honda SUV pulled out of a parking lot to also heading westbound, and the motorcycle T-boned the car.

The driver of the motorcycle died at the hospital, according to police

The driver of the SUV was not injured and showed no signs of intoxication, police said. That driver is not facing charges, police said.
