Man shot outside restaurant in NW Houston, police say

HOUSTON – One man is in the hospital following a shooting in the parking lot outside a Bombshells restaurant in northwest Houston.

Houston police Officer C. Bowling said two groups of people had some type of disagreement inside the restaurant in the 14100 block of Northwest Freeway that ended up pouring out into the parking lot just after midnight.

"Someone pulled out a weapon, firing multiple times into the group. One person was hit multiple times," Bowling said.

The wounded man, 21, was hit in the chest by three bullets, according to Bowling. Police said he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police said they are still investigating what sparked the squabble that ended in violence.

They are still looking for suspects.
