Identities released of suspects involved in police chase, shooting near Greenspoint

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Police have released the identity of three suspects involved in a shooting near a METRO bus stop Friday.

According to police, the men, now identified as Devin Banks, 19, Pascal Okadigwe, 19 and Cristian Lloyd, 21, were on patrol near the 2900 block of Gear Road when they saw a silver Toyota Camry with multiple occupants firing in the vicinity. 

Police attempted a traffic stop, but the driver did not stop leading police on a chase that ended near Gears Road and Greensmark Drive, police said.

Authorities said the men fired shots at law enforcement officials during a chase.

Although no law enforcement officials were injured, authorities said a woman at a bus stop near Gears Road and Walters Road was struck in the leg. Deputies applied a tourniquet to the wound, police said.

The suspects attempted to flee the scene on foot, police said. 

According to authorities, in his attempt to run Lloyd assaulted a 60-year-old woman and took her car key in an effort to carjack her.

Lloyd and Okadigwe were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and felony evading in a motor vehicle.

Banks was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence. He remains at large and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Banks is considered armed and dangerous.
