HOUSTON – Houston police are asking the public to help identify three men who robbed a pawnshop in southwest Houston in October.
Police said the men arrived at the Valu Pawn at 9725 Bissonnet St. around 6:30 p.m. the day of the robbery.
One man stood at the door as a lookout as the other two men entered the store and smashed the glass on two display cases with a sledgehammer, according to police.
The men were wearing gloves and were able to pull the glass window out and take the contents of the display cases, police said.
They took several pieces of jewelry and left the scene in a black Mercury Marquis, according to police.
Police described one of the men as black, about 16 to 18 years old, about 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with brown eyes. He was wearing a gray pullover and blue jeans. Another one of the men is described by police as black, about 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds and wearing a black pullover, brown pants, red shirt and a black mask. The third man was described by police as black, about 20 to 25 years old, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds and wearing a black coat, black jeans, a gray shirt and red Vans.
