Incumbent Dan Patrick re-elected over Democrat Mike Collier in Lt. Gov. race

HOUSTON – Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, the incumbent, beat Democrat Mike Collier in the race for lieutenant governor.

Patrick, a Republican, has served as the state’s second-in-command since 2015. Before that, he served as a state senator.

Collier, his challenger and a UT graduate, started his career at Exxon and has worked as an auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
