MVPs Jose Altuve, James Harden will be grand marshals for HEB Thanksgiving Day Parade
HOUSTON – Mayor Sylvester Turner made some big announcements Monday at City Hall for the city's 2018 holiday events.
Turner kicked off the holiday season by revealing the highlights and entertainment planned for the city of Houston's upcoming HEB Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 22 and the 99th Annual Mayor's Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting Presented by Reliant on Nov. 30.
During the press conference, officials asked for people to bring unwrapped toys for The Salvation Army during the tree-lighting event.
On Twitter, Turner announced that HEB Thanksgiving Day Parade grand marshals will be MVPs Jose Altuve and James Harden.

He also reminded people to bring toys for children in need.
