Dry Sunday expected in Houston
HOUSTON – Heavy rain along a boundary where training storms set up overnight into Sunday resulted in an estimated 3-9 inches falling across several counties including Brazos, Grimes, Madison and Walker and Houston Counties. Several roads in those areas were reported to be flooded.
Most of the region to the south of the warned area will be dry Sunday with temperatures once again heading toward the upper 80s with a 20 percent rain chances.
Cold front will arrive overnight making the start of the week a wet and much colder one with highs heading from the upper 80 to the low to mid 60s by Tuesday.
