Fake McDonald's employee wanted in armed robbery, police say

HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for a man who they said pretended to be a McDonald’s employee and then robbed the west Houston restaurant.

According to police, the suspect walked into the storage area of the restaurant at 8147 Katy Freeway, attempting to blend in as if he worked there, then reached over from an open cash register, took the money and fled the scene. 

The man is described as a white male, 25-35 years old, around 5 feet 10 inches, weighs 170-200 pounds, has brown hair, and was wearing a gray cap with the McDonald’s emblem, a gray shirt and black slacks.
