Angleton man claims $1M in Texas Lottery scratch ticket

HOUSTON – A lucky Angleton man claimed a $1 million prize in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game, Instant Millionaire.

Walter Dale Garland purchased the ticket at a Valero Corner Store at 1310 Brazosport Blvd. North in Richwood.

This was the 12th of 40 second-tier prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the game, according to the Texas Lottery Officials. The odds of winning any prize in the scratch ticket game are 1 in 3.2, officials said.
