Woman named Live God steals police car with suspect in back seat, police say

HOUSTON – Police chased a woman they said stole a police patrol car with a suspect in the back seat.

Police said an officer arrested a suspected drunken driver just after midnight Wednesday on Memorial Drive at the West Loop. When the officer put the person in the back seat and walked to another car to do paperwork, 31-year-old Live God came from a wooded area, jumped into the running patrol car and drove away, police said.

Officers chased God until she stopped the car on Pine Hollow.

God was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
