Katy man accused of making meth in bathroom near closet where 4-year-old boy lived

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are searching for a 37-year-old Katy man who is accused of manufacturing methamphetamine in the bathroom of his home in the 22000 block of Goldstone.

Daniel Clark Morris III is accused of manufacturing the drugs in a bathroom near a closet where a 4-year-old boy was discovered living in December.

Authorities said the boy was living in a closet with roaches and rats as his "friends."

The boy has since been turned over to the care of CPS.

Medical tests confirmed the child was exposed to meth, authorities said.

Morris is described as having brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

His criminal history includes drug possession charges in Harris, Montgomery and Galveston counties.
