MESQUITE, Texas – An Amber Alert was discontinued Friday for a 2-year-old who authorities said was taken from Mesquite.
Police issued the alert Thursday for Amia Blanton.

According to the alert, police believed she was with 47-year-old Levita Grant.
About 11:10 a.m., authorities said the alert had been discontinued, but did not provide any other details.
