HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – In an effort to get a dangerous man off the streets, the Harris County Sheriff's Office released surveillance video of a man robbing a convenience store employee at gunpoint.

Authorities want you get a good look at the man.
The robbery happened last week at a store along Highway 90 in east Harris County.
Investigators told Channel 2 that the man pretended to be a customer and asked the employee for cigarettes.
While the employee's back was turned, the man pulled out a weapon and demanded cash, according to investigators.
Investigators believe this is not the man's first robbery.
Investigators said the man then got away with the cash in a tan-colored van.
Anyone with information on the man's identity is asked to call police.
