HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County deputies say a woman is in custody after she was the driver of a vehicle that drove through multiple yards and struck multiple fences and a home in Spring on Monday night.
The vehicle crashed into a house in the 3200 block of Cottonshire Drive around 8:30, according to authorities.
Britoni Colbert crashed into the bedroom of a 1-year-old child, according to investigators.
The family said the bed was pushed several feet, but the child only suffered minor injuries. The family said the child was more shaken than anything.
Colbert, 31, was spotted by investigators not far from the scene.
She is charged with driving while intoxicated. Her bond was set at $2,000.
