HOUSTON – A person was killed in a shooting Saturday evening in west Houston, police said.
The shooting was reported at 8:40 p.m. in the 9300 block of Richmond Avenue.

Police said the victim died at a hospital.
The shooter is still on the run.
Investigators are at the scene.
