HOUSTON – The Rockets already had the best point guard in the NBA in James Harden - then they added arguably the best point guard of this generation in Chris Paul.

The question everywhere but Houston was could it work, would it work?

The early returns say yes - emphatically, yes.

"We've seen already, what we hoped to see, that they'd work well together," Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni said.

Well they've played together seven times - and the Rockets are a perfect 7-0, winning their last six games together by an average of more than 21 points per game.

Harden is going to win Player of the Month after he led the team to a 12-1 November while also leading the league in scoring by nearly 5 points per game, with 35 points a night.

"From the guys on the floor, to the coaches, to the training staff, everybody is on the same page," Harden said. "It's a good feeling."

Harden's 10.1 assists per game didn't lead the league in assists in November - one player was better - Paul with 10.3 assists per game.

They are undefeated with Paul in the lineup and have the best record in the Western Conference heading into December.
