When police arrived to the home, they said one person was outside and told them there were more people inside the home. That person was detained.

For safety reasons police said they requested SWAT to respond to the scene at 8:00 a.m.

Officials set up a perimeter around the home and tried to negotiate with the people inside. Police said they ordered them to surrender several times and they refused to comply.

Eventually they ordered them to come out one by one and they complied.

Houston police said the situation ended around 9:20 a.m.

Five men and woman were detained without incident police said.

This is a developing story. KPRC 2 will provide updates as they become available.
