HOUSTON – Traffic returned to normal Friday night on the northbound side of Beltway 8 West at the Westpark Tollway after the Beltway was closed for several hours.
According to Houston Transtar, police were investigating two different incidents in the area. Police confirmed that one of the incident was a two-car crash. Police said that the second incident was related to "police activity."

Police later confirmed that a person had threatened to jump from the Harwin Drive overpass, and officers were negotiating with the person.

Traffic cameras showed that police have blocked the Beltway near Westpark Drive and traffic was moving slowly through the area.
