Man in critical condition after early-morning Houston shooting

Police work to learn shooter's identity

HOUSTON – A man was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital on Friday in critical condition after being shot at 8900 Cullen Boulevard, police said.

No arrests have been made. Officers with the Houston Police Department are working to learn who is responsible.

The shooting took place about 12:30 a.m. in the median near the address on Cullen Boulevard, police said.

When officers and paramedics arrived, the man, who wasn’t carrying any identification, was unresponsive.
