Police release surveillance video of car being sought in deadly shooting

HOUSTON – Police released surveillance video Monday of a car being sought in connection with a shooting that killed a man in north Houston earlier this month.

The shooting was reported about 10:50 a.m. Oct. 12 at 802 Lehman St.

Police said Eugene Due, 65, was killed.

The gunman was described as black, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, between 140 and 180 pounds, wearing a white muscle shirt.

Police said the gunman is believed to have escaped in a small, four-door, white or gray vehicle with a missing front, left quarter-panel.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
