Houston police are investigating a shooting in southwest Houston that left one man dead and another hospitalized Saturday night, officials said.
According to police, there was some sort of disturbance among a group of men on Sugar Branch and Forum Park drives around 9:15 p.m.

At some point, shots were fired, police said.
Witnesses nearby said they heard multiple gunshots, police said.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 20s lying in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A second male showed up at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm, police said.
Houston police are questioning the man to see if he was involved or had any information about the shooting, police said.
The victim has not been identified.
