ROSHARON, Texas – A 13-year-old girl was detained after her mother was stabbed around 4 a.m. Thursday, according to Fort Bend County investigators.
Authorities received a 911 call from the teen saying that her mother had been stabbed.

When deputies arrived at the scene in the 8200 block of Obsidian Court in Rosharon, they said the teen was waiting for authorities and told them that her mother had been stabbed.
The mother was taken to the Texas Medical Center in critical condition, authorities said.
The teen was detained.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
