HOUSTON – Lowe's said it will be hiring more than 150 employees Saturday at its South Texas stores as part of a plan to hire more than 3,500 employees statewide.
The company said the hiring event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is to help communities recover from Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall on Aug. 25.
The Houston-area Lowe's stores that will take part in the event include the following locations:
- 4645 Beechnut St. in Houston
- 16510 S. W. Freeway in Sugar Land
- 5400 Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena
- 1655 W. FM 646 in League City
- 200 HWY. 332 East in Lake Jackson
Lowe's said it will hold open interview and make on-the-spot job offers to qualified candidates for seasonal, part-time and full-time roles that include cashiers, loaders, customer service associates and sales specialists in flooring, millwork, appliances and professional services.
