This is the list of more than 75 stores (and counting) that will be closed on Thanksgiving this year

HOUSTON – Thanksgiving Day this year will be a shopping affair for many, but other stores will remain closed for the holiday. 

Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday, Nov. 23, this year. More than 75 well-known retailers are expected to be closed.

As they do every year during the holiday shopping season, things can drastically change. Certain stores may decide to open on Thanksgiving this year and other retailers may decide to close. 

H-E-B will be closing early on Thanksgiving. The hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
