Robbers smash van into SW Houston storefront

Houston police search for robbers

HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for the people responsible for smashing their car through the front of a store in Southwest Houston.

The incident happened back in June at the store located in the 13100 block of S. Post Oak.

The clerk said he was sweeping when he heard a loud bang and realized someone was attempting to back their van into the front of the store, police said.

The clerk said he ran to the back as the van broke through the front glass and damaged the ATM, officers said.

Three men exited the van and attempted to take the ATM, but were unsuccessful.
