HOUSTON – One man is dead, another is in the hospital after a violent argument at a southeast Houston restaurant ended in gunshots Friday night.
According to police, two men inside a McDonald’s near the intersection of Cullen Blvd. and Reed Road got into an argument around 10 p.m.
The argument traveled to the parking lot, that’s when police say one of the men allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the other in the stomach.
According to police, a security guard at the McDonald’s saw the shooting, drew his gun, and shot the man with the gun.
That man was killed. Police say the man shot in the stomach is expected to survive.
According to police, the case will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
