Billionaire businessman tweets photos of Necker Island

SAN ANTONIO – Billionaire businessman Richard Branson posted photos to his Twitter Sunday of the damage done to Necker Island by Hurricane Irma.

Branson is coordinating relief efforts to help the British Virgin Islands, where his private island is located.

“Tomorrow my son Sam, the team and I will be back in the BVI, helping with supplies distribution in conjunction with the local authorities to support people on the ground. We will be handing out canned foods, water, medical supplies, sanitary supplies and other essentials to the surrounding islands,” Branson shared on his website Monday.
