Local businesses offering help after Harvey

HOUSTON – Several businesses across the Houston area are offering free items to support Harvey flood victims.

The Lowe's Meyerland store at 4645 Beechnut Street will be giving away 5,000 free buckets of supplies like gloves, bleach, masks, spray bottles and mops. You can pick one up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. today. They will also have charging stations and food trucks for flood victims.

All 10 Houston-area Whole Foods stores are feeding Harvey victims tonight from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday.

The family style pasta dinners will include salad, bread and bottled water. The meals are free to anyone in the community who wants to join, but you should register here, so they know how many people to expect.
