Legal questions related to Harvey? Attorneys offer free advice

HOUSTON – The Houston Bar Association will keep its free LegalLine open through Sept. 29 to help those with questions related to Hurricane Harvey.

Volunteer attorneys will be manning the phone lines from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, extended programs will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Sept. 20.

The attorneys will be on hand to answer questions regarding landlord/tenant matters, insurance, FEMA assistance, property, lost documents, information on applying for legal aid and other issues related to the storm.
