Historic planes move to new Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington Airport

HOUSTON – The Lone Star Flight Museum is moving from Galveston to Ellington Airport, and on Tuesday, we got a sneak peek as the museum moves into its new home.

KPRC2 cameras were there when crews moved the historic aircraft to the new 130,000-square-foot facility.

The museum's CEO said the planes represent a "living history and hopes it will inspire future generations."

The new museum will open its doors for the first time Sept. 2.
