2 men sought after stealing $21,000 worth of copper

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for two men who broke into a building and stole thousands of dollars in copper wire, officials said.

The burglary was reported at 4 a.m. at a warehouse in the 4800 block of Blalock Road at 4 a.m. on July 12.

During the incident, the pair stole approximately $21,000 worth of copper wire, police said.

Investigators said the men left the scene in a silver or gray Dodge Charger.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward in the case.
