HOUSTON – A prisoner who escaped Harris County Precinct 4 custody Monday at LBJ Hospital in northeast Houston has been arrested, authorities said.
Deputy constables said that the person escaped their custody just before 3 a.m. They said about 8:15 a.m. that the person was back in custody.

The Houston Police Department assisted in the search.
Authorities originally said that the person was in custody in connection with a carjacking, but later said that was not the case.
