2 men rob customers, employee at check-cashing business, police say

PASADENA, Texas – Police are searching for two men who they said robbed a check-cashing business at gunpoint July 21.

Police said the men entered the business in the 5100 block of Fairmont Parkway around 1:27 p.m. while wielding pistols, and took an undisclosed amount of money and property from an employee and customers.

The men left the area in a black four-door sedan with chrome side molding, police said. The car was being driven by a black woman.

One of the men is described as black, approximately 18 to 25 years old and was wearing a black shirt, black shorts, shoes and a black bandana under a blue baseball cap.

The second man is described as black, approximately 18 to 25 years old and was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, black backpack and a dark-colored baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
