Man rescued from under MetroRail train

HOUSTON – A man was hospitalized Sunday after firefighters pulled him out from under a light rail train. 

Police said they were called to the intersection of Main and Dallas streets at 6:26 a.m.

Crews helped rescue the man, who was pinned under the light rail after he was hit by a MetroRail train.

Firefighters said he was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.

The accident remains under investigation.
