HOUSTON – A person driving the wrong way on the North Freeway is dead Saturday after slamming into a concrete wall, according to authorities.
Police said the driver was in a Toyota Sequoia northbound in the southbound lanes on Interstate 45 around 12:30 a.m.

The Toyota struck a concrete divider. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to investigators.
