Classes were canceled and the campus was closed at 10 a.m. after a chiller went down, which caused the air conditioning to go out across campus with the exception of dorms, the university said in a news release.
Maintenance crews were on-site working to resolve the issue, which they said was repaired around 5 p.m.
Students who live on campus were being asked to return to their housing units. Off-campus students were asked to leave, the release said.
Classes and university activities will resume as normal Tuesday.
