Teen injured in drive-by shooting in southeast Houston

HOUSTON – A 16-year-old boy was shot Monday during a drive-by shooting in southeast Houston, police say.

The shooting was reported just before 4 a.m. in the area of Edgebrook Drive at Radio Road.
Police said a white Cadillac drove by and someone inside opened fire. It is unclear how many people were inside the vehicle. 

A 16-year-old, who was shot in the hip, was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Police are looking for surveillance video in hope of identifying the shooter and the vehicle.
